Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she studied the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. She was able to survive with the stipend she received from her students and work part-time jobs. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill when compared with her peers and contemplated a possible alternative direction she would take. Lennox was a flute player in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. From 1977 until 1980 she served as the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop group. They met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. The album was released in 1993. The album had a tremendous success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in the month of November. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's favourite soul, jazz and blues songs from her youth. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P.
